Made in an urban winery in Worthing, West Sussex, with grapes from Kent & Sussex, this is a revolutionary new style of English fizz!
Whilst this sparkling wine is made with the key Champagne grapes, it is made it in a slightly less labour intensive way to keep costs down (as English fizz has become pretty pricey over the years!) – essentially, the secondary fermentation happens in the tank instead of in the bottle. Spending 19 months on its lees this fizz results in a rich & creamy palate which is then balanced out with a fresh & zesty finish. It is both extremely delicious, as well as great bang for your buck.
Pale gold in the glass, aromas of ripe orchard fruit with subtle notes of oyster shell and cherry, developing further to brioche and spice. Citrus fruit gives the palate freshness and precision, opening up with stone fruit, and leading to a long, crisp finish.
