Year 8 – 8 Years Sour, Vault City Brewing

In 2018 Vault City set out to challenge perceptions of what beer could be. Almost 500 unique recipes later they’ve packed them with mountains of fruit, chocolate, spices, marshmallow fluff and everything in between.

To celebrate eight years of pushing boundaries, they’ve revisited the Vault City archives and reimagined eight beers from 2018 to 2025, each with a brand-new twist.

Eight years, eight of VC’s favourite adjuncts. Brewed to celebrate Vault City’s 8th birthday (carrying the torch from 2025’s 7 Years Sour), this decadent dessert beer brings together a bold medley of cherry, blackberry, banana and pear, layered with cinnamon, vanilla, vegan white chocolate, and maple syrup.
VC have thrown a lot into their beers over the years (sometimes quite literally), but for this one they wanted to shine a light on some of the additions that have defined our journey so far. A proper birthday treat.
