Lovely red fruit aromas, summer berries, and balanced by some blackcurrant leaf character too. Quaffable, yet superb fleshy and juicy-ness going through it. An ideal spring/summer wine.

KRÁSNÁ Hora, or Beautiful Mountain, are on the gently sloping mountains in Dolni Poddvorov town, close to the Slovakian border. They own 8 hectares, and most of these vineyards were first planted by Cistercian monks in the 13th century, going back to 800 years ago. They do not use any herbicides or systemic agents instead their own preparations of fertilizers, such as compost and herb plantings are used in-between rows. Krásná Hora recently took on biodynamics and believe that this helps them to be more in tune with the vineyard and soils and have a better understanding of the land.
