Calvados Henry de Querville is a rich, perfumed Calvados. The nose is nutty, with toffee-like aromas and hints of marzipan. Stewed fruits, sandalwood, peppermint and custard on the palate. A nutty, sweet and spicy finish.
Calvados Henri de Querville is made in the Pay d’Auge region by Calvados La Ribaude at the Distillerie de Houley. The Deschamps family distillery is situated in the heart of the Pays d’Auge region on a 150 hectare estate, of which two thirds are planted with small, bitter sweet apples which are perfect for making Calvados. They have six stills, both pot and column to produce fresh, vibrant and above all, fruity Calvados from specially selected, small, bitter sweet apples. Although both pot and column produced Calvados are matured separately, Calvados Henry de Querville is a blend of the two. Producing a spirit with the subtilty of pot still Calvados and the body of column distillate.
