Herbal aromas give way to bright citrus notes warmed by a hint of peppery spice. The Plata is an unaged 100% agave premium tequila. The agaves are cooked in steel autocalve ovens and then crushed using mechanical shredders. The juice is then fermented for 72 hours in aerobic form. The liquid is then twice distilled through copper stills and water is added to bring the ABV down from 55 to 40 proof.
