A blend of the four noble Alsation grapes this wine is demi-sec or off dry in style. 10 days of skin maceration for some of the varietals add to the complexity and substance of this wine. Riesling acidity brings tension with the aromatic elements combined with the residual sugar create a rich and textural wine that is a joy to behold.
Biodynamic, no added sulfur, vegan
The brand of Mathieu Deiss of the celebrated Alsace winemaking family. Assisted by his partner, Emmanuelle Milan, daughter of Henri Milan, Mathieu farms his grandfather’s 7.5ha of vineyard parcels, mostly in the commune of Bennwihr, using biodynamic methods. With the occasional foray into skin contact, he prefers, where possible, to use no sulphur and create natural wines.
